I’m Karina, a Brand Designer living in Los Angeles looking for my next big role. In the last two years, I worked as a Senior Brand Designer with Flip, a social media and e-commerce startup company. I assisted in designing UI elements and concepts for the Flip app, led advertising campaigns, event activation production, social media campaigns, and B2B/B2C/DTC email communications. I loved managing a small creative team of 4. Collaboration is my superpower and I make an amazing Design manager (I know I’m bragging, but it’s true). Prior to Flip, I was deep in the sports world where I’ve been lucky to have worked with Religion of Sports, Elysian Park Ventures, Chopra Global, Fittr, EL1, COPA, Snap Mobile, and Diamond Kinetics on a variety of exciting and not your average projects. I received an MFA in Design (STEM emphasis) from ArtCenter College of Design and a BA in both Digital Media and Feminist Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
When not working with cool companies, I design indie film posters, do a little sports shooting, rollerskate, read, hike, draw, practice pilates, and relax with my two long-haired cats and dog. Let’s do amazing work together.
